Celine Dion went full metalhead at the Sphere in Las Vegas on Saturday (Nov. 7), headbanging and playing air guitar to Metallica's "Enter Sandman" with Jack Black from a balcony seat.
In a video from the show, Black leans back and mouths along to the words while Dion plays her imaginary guitar. During a guitar solo, the pair stand side by side and clap their hands above their heads.

Metallica’s Saturday show was the last Sphere performance of the year for James Hetfield, Kirk Hammett, Robert Trujillo, and Lars Ulrich.
That was Dion's second Metallica night of the week. On Thursday, she played air bass from an upper balcony suite during the "Kirk and Rob Doodle," the instrumental segment led by Hammett and Trujillo.
Dion’s sons Eddy and Nelson were with her that night, and Slash and members of No Doubt were reportedly in the suite, too.
Dion lives in Las Vegas but hasn't played a stage in the city since her Colosseum residency at Caesars Palace ended in June 2019. She revealed her stiff person syndrome diagnosis in December 2022 and came back to full-length concerts with a Paris run from Sept. 12 to Oct. 17.
The Metallica connection for Dion goes back decades. Earlier this year, she shared a personal playlist that included the band's 1996 single "Until It Sleeps," and has said Metallica is the favorite band of her son Eddy.
Metallica's "Life Burns Faster" residency opened at the Sphere on Oct. 1 with a "no repeat" format, so each Thursday show and the Saturday show had different set lists. Saturday's show closed out the 2026 portion of the run.
Next up, the band plays two shows at Mohegan Sun Arena in Connecticut later this month, then returns to the Sphere in January 2027 for the rest of the 24-show residency, which runs through March 13, 2027.
