50 Cent has responded to a recent post that claims he “hates Black Women” because of a lawsuit he filed against Tia Kemp, and joked that he’s been losing sleep over apparent “smear” campaigns against him.
“It’s 5:43 AM I can’t sleep after reading some of [the] things these people are saying about me online,” he wrote in the caption of a post that included screenshots of the post, which accuses Fif of waging a hate campaign against various Black women, including Rick Ross’ former romantic partner, Tia Kemp. “I’m emotionally exhausted and unable to take these vicious attacks. I have no choice but to add these people to the defamation lawsuit.”
In a follow-up post, he shared a picture showing him standing in front of a Smart car and suggested that he was innocent.
“I don’t know why people would take the time to try and smear my name and reputation I’m just out here trying to make it like everyone else,” he wrote. “I can’t sleep, but good morning. Smh.”
Last month, Fif filed a lawsuit against Tia Kemp, accusing her of using his 14-year-old son, Sire Jackson, “as a prop and a punchline.”
“Ms. Kemp shamelessly used the label ‘on the spectrum’ as a pejorative slur hurled at a child to humiliate him and his family,” Fif’s lawyers argued in the complaint. “But autism is not shameful. What is shameful is fabricating a diagnosis for a private child, inventing a sexually degrading cause for it, and broadcasting both to a mass audience in order to degrade him.”
He later got a restraining order against Tia Kemp on behalf of his son. In response, she accused the Street Fighter star of being a “rat.” Fif later made a Zoom court appearance to discuss his legal battle with Kemp.
