The chain is also introducing Pickle Pals, a collection of mystery pickle plushie keychains that fans can get with a special meal.
The Picklewich and pickle-flavored chips return on Monday, Oct. 26, according to a news release provided to Complex, while the new collectibles arrive on Tuesday, Oct. 27. If you want to get your hands on one of these little pickle pals, here's what you need to know.
There are five Pickle Pals to collect: Lulu, J.J., Big John, Vito and Tom, an ultra-rare character. Each comes in a mystery bag, so you'll have to open yours to discover which pickle you've got. Naturally, finding Tom could make things a little more challenging for collectors.
The plushie keychains are available exclusively through Jimmy John's Triple Pickle meal, starting Tuesday at participating locations nationwide. You'll need to order in-store or at the drive-thru, and the offer lasts only while supplies last.
There's a limit of one Pickle Pal per person, per transaction, and customers can't request or exchange specific characters.
Each Triple Pickle meal includes your choice of Picklewich, a bag of pickle-flavored Jimmy Chips and one blind-bag Pickle Pal. The meal features six Picklewich options, including the Vito, made with salami and capocollo, along with turkey, ham, roast beef, tuna and veggie versions.
"The return of the Jimmy John's Picklewich is something pickle lovers look forward to all year, so we wanted to bring it back in a way that gives fans even more to enjoy,” said Suzanne DeRouchie, vice president of integrated marketing communications at Jimmy John's.
She added, "Our new Pickle Pals add a playful element of surprise to the Triple Pickle, with five characters to collect. You never know which one you'll get until you open the bag, making every Triple Pickle meal a little more fun and giving fans a reason to keep coming back to collect them all."
