If Johnny Manziel is serious about getting back into the NFL, the Arena Football League wants to help him out. AFL commissioner Scott Butera told TMZ Sports that the league is "ready and willing provide Manziel with whatever support he needs to aid in his football comeback."

From getting kicked out of a nightclub during a performance by Drake to getting served with a $40,000 lawsuit just as he stepped out of an L.A. restaurant, the last few months have been an absolute mess for Manziel. However, the 23-year-old set a date of July 1 for when he would focus on turning his life around and getting "completely sober."

"We could provide a strong platform for him to demonstrate that he is back," Butera said. "We would also work with him and provide him whatever help he needed to live a healthy life." The need for structure, which might lead to a healthier lifestyle, is something his father has been stressing, even going as far as to suggest that jail may be the best option for his son.

In addition to the AFL, NFL executive vice president of football operations Troy Vincent admits to extending an olive branch to Manziel. Vincent said he and Manziel's former team, the Cleveland Browns, have tried reaching out to the former Texas A&M product. It appears that many people are in his corner. Now it's up to Johnny Football to do his part. The AFL may not be the most glamorous start, but it's a start.
