Jalen Hurts and DeVonta Smith have won games together, hoisted a Super Bowl trophy together, and spent nearly a decade proving they're one of football's tightest duos. And earlier this month, their friendship added another chapter when Hurts showed up at Smith's lavish Walt Disney World wedding, trading the football field for a black-tie celebration in front of family, friends, and some of the NFL's biggest names.

People was in the building when Smith married longtime partner Mya Danielle on June 13 at the Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort, turning the vacation destination into a luxury wedding venue packed with Eagles stars and fellow NFL standouts. Hurts attended alongside wife Bry Burrows, joining guests including A.J. Brown, Nakobe Dean, Jaylen Waddle, Pat Surtain II, Jerry Jeudy, and Jahan Dotson for a weekend that blended Southern traditions with Disney magic.

The wedding itself was a major production. Guests arrived dressed entirely in black for what the couple described as a "striking and sophisticated" atmosphere. A winding black aisle led to an altar framed by white roses, where Smith and Danielle exchanged vows before heading to a reception featuring a seven-foot wedding cake, live entertainment, and a surprise gift from the bride: Smith's dream car.

But Hurts' presence wasn't just another celebrity guest appearance. The Eagles quarterback and wide receiver go back to their Alabama days, when Hurts helped recruit Smith to Tuscaloosa.

While many college teammates drift apart, the two built a friendship rooted in football, discipline, and trust. Smith has previously summed up that bond in simple terms: "If I ain't got nothing in this city, I know I got him."

For Smith and Danielle, Disney wasn't a random choice. "We make an annual trip to Disney every year, so getting married there felt like a natural extension of a tradition that already holds so many special memories for us," the couple told People.

They added that returning to the resort in future years would allow them to revisit "one of the most important moments of our lives."

The celebration started well before the ceremony. Guests kicked off the weekend at Magic Kingdom before heading to a Louisiana-inspired welcome party dubbed the "Dukes & Boots Welcome Rodeo."

There was a crawfish boil, custom cowboy hats, and even music from Louisiana’s favorite Kool DJ Supamike.
