IShowSpeed is receiving a special thank-you from children in Gaza after his livestream helped raise $9,000 to support a local school and soup kitchen.

On Wednesday, Nov. 4, a video shared online showed dozens of children gathered inside a large tent, smiling, waving, and holding a handmade sign dedicated to the popular streamer.

"Thank you IShowSpeed for supporting our School and Kitchen," the colorful poster read, surrounded by hand-drawn hearts.

The video originated from Go Project Hope, a U.S.-based nonprofit organization that credited Speed with helping raise thousands of dollars for its humanitarian efforts in Gaza.

"Because of Speed's livestream, we were able to raise $9,000 for our lifesaving programs in Gaza," the organization wrote on Facebook and Instagram, explaining that his platform introduced the charity to thousands of potential donors. "100% of every donation go towards our soup kitchen and school in Gaza."

Go Project Hope also revealed that the donations generated through Speed's livestream will keep both programs operating for several weeks.

"The money donated through your livestream will fund our soup kitchen and school for the next five weeks!" the charity added.

The organization, which describes itself as a health and education initiative, works alongside Gaza Soup Kitchen to provide meals to families in North Gaza's Jabaliya refugee camp. According to the nonprofit, a $4 donation can provide a meal for an entire family.

Speed reportedly helped bring attention to the initiative by allowing a Palestinian man to discuss the organization's work during one of his livestreams.

The 21-year-old streamer, whose real name is Darren Watkins Jr., has previously contributed to Palestinian relief efforts. In June 2024, he reportedly donated $50,000 from his $100,000 winnings in a Wipeout challenge featuring KSI and MrBeast.
