Quentin Tarantino has given fans a sneak peek at his upcoming Cliff Booth-focused film, sharing a 17-minute preview at AFI Festival.

On Friday (October 23), the filmmaker debuted the first few moments of The Further Mis-Adventures of Cliff Booth, where Brad Pitt returns as the titular character.

The fictional stuntman debuted in 2019 movie Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood, which co-stars an ensemble cast of Leonardo DiCaprio, Margot Robbie, Austin Butler and more. In 2020, the role would earn Pitt his first Academy Award as performer in the Best Supporting Actor category.

According to JustJared, the screening followed a showing of Once Upon a Time… and was followed by a Q&A with Tarantino. The film is accompanied by Tarantino’s novel, The Adventures of Cliff Booth, which releases December 8.

"It’s not about a story, the fact that it's just about this folklore that's a mix of real things that happened back then and real people and a real industry, and then also this kind of fantastical version that I created," Tarantino said, per The Wrap.

The movie opens with Booth purchasing stolen items, including an Academy Award for Best Actor, along with a movie being shown in the theater starring Yahya Abdul-Mateen II.

The film slated to arrive in theaters on November 25, followed by its December 23 release on Netflix.
