Donald Glover and his brother Stephen Glover are working on a live-action PUBG series for Netflix.

According to Variety, the Glover brothers will write and executive produce the series, which is currently in development at Netflix. Donald is attached to star in the project, while Michael Schaefer, Fam Udeorji, and PUBG publisher Krafton’s Taeseok Jang and Sujin Lee will also produce.

Developed and published by South Korean studio Krafton, PUBG: Battlegrounds debuted on Windows PC in 2017 and made its way to console platforms in the following years.

With no direct storyline, the game was responsible for popularizing the battle royale genre of games alongside Fortnite, both of which feature a large number of players dropped into an increasingly shrinking battleground. Just like Fortnite, it’s also remained incredibly popular throughout the years.

The Glover brothers previously worked together on all four seasons of FX’s Atlanta, Amazon Prime’s Mr. & Mrs. Smith, and Amazon Prime’s miniseries Swarm.
