Skepta has made it very clear that he's not a fan of the way North West was hounded by men wanting to take pictures with her during a recent trip to Paris.
Earlier this week, footage of the 13-year-old daughter of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian meeting crowds at Paris Fashion Week surfaced online. In some of the videos, several male attendees got close to her, and one of them seemingly made her uncomfortable when he grabbed her for a hug. Other clips showed her seemingly upset as another adult male draped his arm over her shoulder.
Skepta, catching wind of the posts, took to X on Saturday (June 27) to express his thoughts. "My fans know I try to stay out of people’s business, but damn the way grown men, complete strangers, try to use North makes me sick," he wrote, adding several puking emojis.
When someone responded to his post saying: "Is hugging a social offense now," the UK rapper responded by pointing out that North preferred a handshake instead of that.
"What are you talking about?! She is 13 years old, and she put her hand out for a handshake, you don’t ignore that. I can’t believe some these replies to my tweet," Skepta wrote.
Skepta then responded to someone who suggested that North’s appearance means she "basically skipped being a teenager," writing: "WOW!! 😢 Protect your kids people. Protect your kids!"
He wrapped up his conversation about North’s interactions by preaching the importance of learning what body language is. "Schools teaching French, German & English when really the language most people need to fucking learn is 'Body Language,'" he said.
North has been the talk of Paris Fashion Week thanks to her bold stylistic choices. She took the time during her arrival at the Vetements Menswear Spring/Summer 2027 show to show off several new facial piercings, including one at the bridge of her nose, two cheek studs, and two angel bite piercings on her top lip.
