Retired Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce has also expressed his excitement for the performance during his recent appearance on Monday Night Football. “We saw the goats in the freakin’ presentation, he is the GOAT,” Kelce shared, as reported by Billboard. “He’s got more stadium-ready hits than most artists have songs, period. It’s gonna be a great show.”
Jay-Z’s Roc Nation has been working with the NFL since 2019 to curate the Halftime Shows at the Super Bowl. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said in a statement that he had an agreement with Jay-Z that he would perform at the Super Bowl whenever it made sense for him to do so.
“For several years, we’ve had the privilege of working closely with JAŸ-Z and Roc Nation, and I’ve seen the extraordinary impact he has had on the Super Bowl Halftime Show,” said Goodell. “When we first reached an agreement with Roc Nation to produce the show, I had just one request: that JAŸ-Z take the stage himself one day, whenever the moment felt right to him. I couldn’t be more excited for fans around the world to experience the artistry, creativity and cultural impact he will bring to the Super Bowl stage.”
