OsamaSon

OsamaSon is a rapper, songwriter, and producer from Goose Creek, South Carolina, and Columbus, Ohio. He was born Amari Deshawn Middleton on May 20, 2003. He began making music in 2020 under the name PradaUMari, learning to produce on FL Studio from his uncle, a geechee musician, before adopting his current name in 2021. His breakout came in early 2023 with the singles "Cts-V" and "Troops," which spread rapidly through the underground rap ecosystem and led to his debut studio album *Osama Season* in July 2023 — a project that drew critical attention from Pitchfork and The FADER for tracks like "Werkin," "Kutta," and "X & Sex." OsamaSon's sound is built around frenetic, distorted production and a delivery that sits at the cutting edge of 2020s underground rap — drawing comparisons to Chief Keef and Summrs while maintaining a distinct South Carolina rawness rooted in his geechee heritage. His third album *Jump Out* (January 2025) became his first to chart on the *Billboard* 200, and his fourth, *Psykotic* (October 2025), debuted at #81, marking a rapid commercial ascent that has not dulled his underground credibility. He has headlined multiple tours and performed at Rolling Loud California and Rolling Loud Thailand, establishing himself as one of the most significant young rappers working in the space between the underground and the mainstream.
