Iconic skater and artist Mark Gonzales has teamed up with the French menswear brand Études for a limited capsule collection, and the range of products will feature some of the artist’s recent visuals and poetry. Gonzales is no stranger to collaboration; he’s frequently worked with streetwear giant Supreme and created one of the most hyped pieces from the brand’s latest collection. In addition to his work with Supreme, Gonzales has also worked with Adidas and acclaimed film director Harmony Korine, so it comes as little surprise for the rising French label to have commissioned the revered artist for a capsule of clothing and accessories.

The small collection, which features a mix of Études staples, is sure to satisfy fans of the brand and artist alike. Gonzales’ artwork adorns a number of the label’s jackets, button-down shirts, and tote bags. The capsule is a perfect mix of their two contrasting signature styles: Études minimal menswear and Gonzales’ chaotic aesthetic. The result is a sophisticated yet stark collection that will be sure to appeal to the diverse worlds of both skating and fashion.

In addition to the clothing, the collaboration is rounded out by a zine that features a variety of Gonzales’ poetry and art. The limited-edition pieces will be released alongside the Études Spring/Summer 2016 collection, which is titled "Up and Down Town."

The entire collection is set to drop at Études' Paris flagship store on May 12.
