Sports and style have always been intertwined, but athletes across the globe are being embraced by the fashion world now more than ever. They get front-row treatment at Paris Fashion Week, attend the Met Gala, act as ambassadors for luxury brands, and even operate their own fashion labels.
And fans aren’t just paying attention to the NBA tunnel anymore. It feels as if every other sport—whether it’s baseball, football, skateboarding, or even F1—has some sort of palpable social media presence dedicated to showing off what athletes are wearing.
With the NFL regular season in full swing, the NBA season recently underway, and WNBA on the cusp of crowning its latest champion, we started thinking: Who are the best-dressed athletes right now?
We considered the following criteria: (1) Consistency: How long have they been dressing well? (2) Originality: Are they simply embracing current trends or are their fits more unique? (3) Range: Is their style versatile or do they stick to one specific aesthetic? (4) Impact: Has their fashion sense led them to other opportunities such as brand deals or collaborations? And remember: this is a ranking of who we think are the best-dressed athletes right now, not of all time.
See our picks below—do you agree?
LeBron James
Sport: Basketball
Team: Philadelphia 76ers
Overall vibe: If it ain’t broke…
It’s been over 20 years since LeBron’s infamous baggy white suit at the 2003 NBA Draft, and naturally LBJ’s style has evolved considerably. Lately, that means wearing a lot of Louis Vuitton pieces designed by Pharrell. He still mixes in his fair share of exclusive Nike pieces too. While he looks good in the outfits more often than not, it’s become a bit predictable, especially compared to some of the other more experimental athletes on the list. While LeBron may not deserve the No. 1 spot (that placement is for another list), he’s certainly earned his place in the style conversation. Let’s see if his new home in Philly leads to any wardrobe shifts this season.
Naomi Osaka
Sport: Tennis
Team: N/A
Overall vibe: Custom connoisseur
Unlike every other name on this list, Naomi Osaka claims her spot for what she wears on the field of play. Just at the 2026 US Open alone, she went viral on multiple occasions for her custom warmups and on-court gear designed to pay homage to Allen Iverson or showcase some incredible KidSuper artwork. Osaka’s match gear has become must-see.
Caleb Williams
Sport: Football
Team: Chicago Bears
Overall vibe: Statement streetwear
The Iceman has become very divisive among NFL fans, but the Bears QB deserves his respect. Williams’ overall style certainly leans on the calmer side, but he always makes sure to throw in a head-turning streetwear piece, whether that be a Supreme jacket or CPFM x Nike sweater. He’s also made wired headphones and matcha statement accessories, and become the latest male athlete to champion painting his nails. Just as he is knocking on the door of QB superstardom, Williams is also slowly becoming one of the NFL’s must-see style stars.
Trinity Rodman
Sport: Soccer
Team: Washington Spirit
Overall vibe: Rising star
Trinity Rodman seems like she is knocking on the door of becoming one of the most fashionable professional athletes in the world. Whether she is walking in the Victoria’s Secret runway show, arriving to the latest Spirit game, or cheering on her boyfriend Ben Shelton in the crowd at Arthur Ashe Stadium, Rodman is proving that she deserves to be taken seriously in the style department. With the 2027 Women’s FIFA World Cup approaching, expect Rodman to have even more moments in the spotlight to flex her fashion sense.
Cameron Brink
Sport: Basketball
Team: Los Angeles Sparks
Overall vibe: Runway ready
Since Cameron Brink joined the W, she has been turning the pregame tunnel into a runway show of her own. Her model-esque height (6’4”) also helps. Brink’s wadrobe leans more into classic womenswear with a nice rotation of tailored suits, skirts, and high heels. She is one of the players at the forefront f the WNBA’s fashion renaissance.
Jordan Poole
Sport: Basketball
Team: New Orleans Pelicans
Overall vibe: Small market, big fits
Poole may be one of the most underrated athletes when it comes to his wardrobe. Frankly, I guess we are even guilty of it by placing him in the 18th spot. Poole isn’t ever trying to be the loudest in the room. He opts for the classics. Think polos, flannels, or workwear jackets. It isn’t breaking any new ground, but Poole always looks put together.
Jarred Vanderbilt
Sport: Basketball
Team: Los Angeles Lakers
Overall vibe: Trendy-yet-tasteful
Jarred Vanderbilt has been one of the NBA best-dressed for years. He’s also become a mainstay at fashion shows in Paris and New York. Vando is someone who truly loves fashion and it shows. He can easily flip between a preppier blazer and trousers, and then turn around and pull off a grungier streetwear look mixing a vintage rock tee with embellished sneakers. The two aesthetics sit on completely opposite sides of the menswear spectrum, so Vando being able to pull off both is commendable.
Jared McCain
Sport: Basketball
Team: OKC Thunder
Overall vibe: Young and experimental
Jared McCain’s change of scenery from Philadelphia to OKC last season proved to work wonders for the young guard. We aren’t just talking about his on-court play. Now sharing a locker room with some of the best dressed players in the NBA, McCain has stepped his game up. The 22-year-old seems to constantly be fine tuning his wardrobe game after game, from mixing up proportions to adding Bottega Veneta bags to his arsenal. Of course, we can’t forget about his always-changing sets of painted nails. Let’s see if he can take another leap this year, on and off the court.
Odell Beckham Jr.
Sport: Football
Team: Minnesota Vikings
Overall vibe: Loud-yet-balanced
When Odell Beckham Jr. entered the NFL in 2014, he was almost immediately recognized as one of the league’s swaggiest individuals. His hairstyle was copied by thousands of young ballers. He rocked Richard Milles on gameday, and stayed laced in a rotation of custom Nike cleats. Over 10 years later, not much has changed. When OBJ isn’t one of the few athletes attending the Met Gala, he’s stepping out to any function he attends in a photo-worthy fit. From rare Chrome Hearts bags covered in cross patches to the insane KidSuper x Jeff Hamilton leather jacket he rocked to Super Bowl LX, OBJ’s wardrobe is anything but calm. Even though his prime years on the gridiron are behind him, his personal style has kept him a household name.
Tyrese Haliburton
Sport: Basketball
Team: Indiana Pacers
Overall vibe: Preppy and playful
Even though he sat out the entire 2025-26 season due to injury, Hali made sure to keep stay consistent with the fits while sitting courtside. Oftentimes, he leans on the preppier side. In true ‘90s fashion, a blazer, slim denim, and loafers has become a go-to combo for him. He’s also not afraid to mix in some statement pieces from time to time. While the results aren’t always perfect, Hali hits more than he misses.
Angel Reese
Sport: Basketball
Team: Atlanta Dream
Overall vibe: Bayou Barbie
Few players in the WNBA command as much attention as Angel Reese. She’s arguably the league’s biggest attraction right now. That comes from her star power on the court (ring coming soon?) and also her personal style off of it. Reese is able to effortlessly flip between casual streetwear and timeless luxury looks. Chanel sweaters. Gucci monogram skirts. Balenciaga tracksuits. They’re all in rotation. This type of versatility has made her a fan favorite, a mainstay at fashion shows for major brands, and even a guest at the Met Gala.
Lewis Hamilton
Sport: Formula 1
Team: Ferrari
Overall vibe: Best in class
Lewis Hamilton is the best driver in the history of F1. He also just so happens to be the sport’s most stylish participant of all time. His walks to the paddock on race day are a must-watch. He can pull off a finely tailored suit or a Canadian tuxedo with ease. He also isn’t afraid to try out riskier looks from time to time that incorporate statement pieces like ultra baggy camo cargos and sequined Dior tops. He’s also co-chaired the Met Gala. They don’t let just anybody do that. Plus, he gets to pose next to a cherry red Ferrari F40 sometimes. That’s sort of a cheat code, huh?
Will Anderson Jr.
Sport: Football
Team: Houston Texans
Overall vibe: Sophisticated Confidence
Will Anderson terrorizes opposing quarterbacks every Sunday. He’s one of the best defensive linemen in the entire NFL right now. But don’t let the intensity on the field make you forget about his much calmer, cleaner wardrobe off of it. We also need to give a proper shout out to his stylist Dex Robinson who has helped Anderson perfect his pregame wardrobe. Everyone thinks you need to be slimmer to dress well and have great style. Anderson is proving that tired notion wrong and putting on for stylish big men everywhere.
Devin Booker
Sport: Basketball
Team: Phoenix Suns
Overall vibe: Classic Minimalist
Devin Booker is living proof that sometimes the best answer can also be the most simplistic one. D Book never does too much. He doesn’t wear bright colors or loud patterns. Instead, he sticks to his usual uniform: a light pair of straight-legged jeans, white tee or work shirt, a clean baseball cap (usually a Tigers fitted), and some classic Chuck Taylors or leather boots. That’s it. That’s the formula. Booker knows what works for him and doesn’t stray too far away from it. Ironically, his minimalist, quiet wardrobe has made him stand out as one of the best dressed players in the NBA.
Lamine Yamal
Sport: Soccer
Team: FC Barcelona
Overall vibe: Modern luxury
Lamine Yamal is the future of soccer. At just 19 years old, he already has a World Cup victory under his belt, which will be far from his last accolade. He stellar play on the pitch sells itself, but his style is going to make his star power that much bigger. Viral streetwear pieces like a Marty Supreme track jacket or Sp5der sweatsuit are in his rotation, but Yamal has really gotten deep into his luxury bag. While he is wearing a lot of popular items that we have seen many times before, like Chanel bags or Louis Vuitton Speedys, he styles them with a youthful energy that makes them feel refreshed. He isn’t even 20 years old yet. Expect Yamal to continue to elevate his look (and his place on this list) as his career progresses. He’s a style icon in the making.
Jalen Williams
Sport: Basketball
Team: OKC Thunder
Overall vibe: Elevated nostalgia
J-Dub is a vintage fanatic. Along with his Thunder teammates, he has made a habit of scouring city’s across the country in search of the craziest pieces. Once he finds them, he weaves them flawlessly into his rotation of luxury pieces, from snakeskin leather jackets to LV windbreakers. What make Williams’ style so great is that everything he wears feels natural. He’s throwing on whatever feels right to him that day, regardless of what everyone else has to say about it. Most of the time, it results in some of the best fits we are seeing grace the NBA pregame tunnel right now.
Jerami Grant
Sport: Basketball
Team: Memphis Grizzlies
Overall vibe: Fashion boundary-pusher
Grant may not be a household name, but the NBA vet has certainly made an impact throughout his decade-plus career. He has also maintained a spot in the conversation as one of the Association’s flyest players for a number of years. Grant isn’t just wearing the same trendy brands and pieces that many other players gravitate towards. You can tell that fashion isn’t an afterthought for him. It’s a genuine passion. That shines through with experimental silhouettes and pieces from designers that don’t typically grace the NBA tunnel like Comme des Garçons, Wales Bonner, and Sacai. All in all, it makes for one of the most unique, and well curated, wardrobes in all of sports.
Frank Jackson
Sport: Basketball
Team: Ningbo Rockets
Overall vibe: Refined classics
Frank Jackson hasn’t played a game in the NBA since 2023, but don’t let that be the reason you overlook his style. The Utah native leans into his Midwestern roots to offer a refined spin on classic workwear and gorpcore gear. He knows what works for him and wears it well, even if it’s an unassuming vintage flannel or some a nondescript pair of leather boots with the perfect patina. He shows them off on his very aesthetically pleasing IG page, typically with his face cut off. The curation of the page and accompanying imagery feels much more like a creative or clothing brand than a professional athlete’s social media feed. It’s a refreshing change of pace. As much as we selfishly wish he was on an NBA team so we could get more consistent tunnel fits, Jackson is doing just fine without them.
Ceedee Lamb
Sport: Football
Team: Dallas Cowboys
Overall vibe: Trendy maximalist
Wide receivers have a reputation of being the flashies players on a football team. Ceedee Lamb is living that truth through a crazy wardrobe. His outfits typically lean on the trendier side with frequent cameos from brands like Mannahatta, ERD, and Rick Owens. That being said, Lamb isn’t just dressing like a mannequin or blending in to the rest of the fit pics we saw on a daily basis.
Brands are also taking notice. He’s modeled for Abercrombie & Fitch to help announce their NFL partnership and been tapped by Bode and Nike to debut a custom Western ensemble in the pregame tunnel. If the clothing wasn’t enough, you are also always going to be blinded by his diamond teeth whenever he smiles. Lamb is undoubtedly one of the best receivers in the NFL today. He’s more than dressing for the part.
Jules Kounde
Sport: Soccer
Team: FC Barcelona
Overall vibe: Chic versatility
No footballer is doing it like Jules Koundé right now. The Frenchman has quickly risen in the ranks of well-dressed athletes. Even if you have no vested interest in Barcelona FC or European soccer as a whole, you have to appreciate the fits Koundé throws on when he’s off the pitch. One day, he might keep things casual with a perfectly faded vintage T-shirt, a pair of jorts, and Adidas sneakers (and a cool $12,000 Louis Vuitton Speedy). The next day, he might elevate things with a classic peacoat while clutching an Hermès bag. His closet house a wide range of brands, from storied luxury houses such as Prada to up-and-comers like Thug Club. He looks good in pretty much anything.
Jordan Clarkson
Sport: Basketball
Team: New York Knicks
Overall vibe: Championship swagger
Jordan Clarkson has been in the conversation for best dressed player in the NBA for a number of years. Entering his 13th season, he still finds himself firmly in that conversation. For most of those seasons, he was making noise while playing in smaller markets like Utah and Cleveland. Now, he’s in the Big Apple and coming off of a championship. Their are more eyes on the Knicks roster than ever before. Clarkson is still rising to the occasion. He still prefers baggier silhouettes—giant cargo pants and hockey jerseys have become his signatures. That doesn’t mean he limits himself. Clarkson is always experimenting. More often than not, he pulls it off easily.
Stefon Diggs
Sport: Football
Team: Washington Commanders
Overall vibe: Calculated risk-taker
Stefon Diggs isn’t afraid to take risks with his wardrobe. Sometimes that’s an aggressively furry pair of boots and a matching coat. Sometimes he’s channeling Michael Jackson. He balances the adventurous choices with everyday outfits composed of staples like leather biker jackets, a perfectly broken-in pair of denim, or a calm knit sweater.
Diggs has parlayed his reputation into multiple sneaker collabs with Asics and his own lifestyle clothing brand Liem Homme. When you are talking about the NFL’s flyest, Diggs has to be mentioned.
Tyrod Taylor
Sport: Football
Team: Green Bay Packers
Overall vibe: Tailored and timeless
Tyrod Taylor rarely misses. That’s been the case for nearly a decade. Taylor and his stylist Dex Robinson have perfected the perfect balance between quiet luxury and elevated streetwear. No matter what the vibe is on any given week, it never feels forced. Taylor feels comfortable and confident in anything, whether that’s a pair of carpenter pants from his own brand Diallo that nod back to his blue collar Virginia upbringing or a sleek leather trench coat. As a testament to his decade-plus of getting fly, he even rocked a custom Louis Vuitton tuxedo at his wedding. Crazy flex. Sixteen years in, Taylor is proof that some things just keep getting better with age.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander
Sport: Basketball
Team: OKC Thunder
Overall vibe: Generational dresser
When most people think of modern NBA fashion, they are thinking about Shai-Gilgeous Alexander. He’s cemented as not only one of the best dressed players in the league today, but also in the annals of NBA fashion history. That reputation has led him to start official partnerships with Converse, Levi’s, and Canada Goose.
What makes SGA’s style so great is that it’s hard to really put it in a box. One day, he’s peacocking to the max in a full Chrome Hearts fit. The next, he’s pulling up in some rare-yet-understated vintage Polo. Maybe he was feeling a vintage graphic tee the day after that? He’s sure to mix in some custom Vava at the All-Star break. Even his grocery store fits go viral. The man himself said it best, “My whole life is consistent.”
Nickeil Alexander-Walker
Sport: Basketball
Team: Atlanta Hawks
Overall vibe: Unsung icon
It must run in the family. There is only one athlete that we feel dresses better than SGA by the slimmest of margins. It’s his cousin Nickeil Alexander-Walker.
NAW matches his stellar wardrobe with a calm, cool, and collected demeanor. He never feels like he’s trying too hard, even if some of the items he backs out are the typical neck-breakers like a Chrome Hearts duffle or the latest hyped-up Supreme collab. Instead, he always finds a way to bring those pieces into his world. His curated blend of vintage, colorful streetwear, quiet luxury, and the perfect dose of flashy accessories are the best off-court uniform in sports right now.
