To remove yellow sweat stains from white shirts, spray the affected areas with lemon juice before you put them in the wash.

There's nothing worse than realizing your favorite white tee is now smudged with pools of urine-yellow right at the pits. Thankfully, this simple solution will prolong the lives of all your white tees and undershirts, so that you don't look like a gross uncle at the next BBQ.

Wearing an undershirt beneath a button-up actually keeps you cooler by wicking sweat off your skin and forming pockets of air between you and the shirt.

Wearing more clothes to stay cool sounds counter-intuitive, but adding an extra tee under a button-up really will better your life.

Use deodorant to prevent chafing and odor in shoes that you wear sockless.

Going sockless in the summer is a must, but with that comes skin chafing and stank-ass shoes. Rub a stick of deodorant on the sides of your feet, and any friction that's causing harm should dissipate away. As an added bonus, the deodorant will impede your disgusting foot odor from destroying your kicks.

Keep extra shirts and deodorant at the office or at school.

At some point you're gonna spill some ice cream or take a subway with a broken AC and sweat through whatever you hoped to wear that day. If you plan ahead and stash some extra tees and deodorant, then you'll be unstoppable this season.

Take off your shoes as often as possible.

A lot of heat can be released through the soles of your feet. So, when appropriate, barefoot it up.

Hack away at old sweatpants to make some sweat shorts.

In keeping up with the athletic wave through summer, shearing the legs off of sweatpants and making some raw-hemmed sweat shorts is the move this season. These bad boys are from Reigning Champ, but if you were smart and stylish enough to have a few pairs of sweatpants already in your closet, then sharpen up some scissors and get to hacking. The fray-edged shorts will definitely become a top contender for your most-worn item this season.

Keep a hankerchief (aka swag rag) on you and use it to cool down your pulse points.

Keeping one of these in your back pocket is a must when summer's swelter hits its peak. Not only is it practical in wiping sweat off your brow and neck, but if you wet the "swag rag" and press down on the pulse points of your wrists, temples, elbows, and neck, then this can help your body cool down quickly and effectively.

Invest in a pair of swim trunks that can double up as shorts.

You pretty much have two options when it comes to copping a dope pair of trunks. You can either buy some wild garish shit that only works on the beach, or you can purchase a muted pair that almost look like a regular pair of shorts. If you choose the latter, then you're all set when you and your crew hit up a restaurant or bar after a day in the sun. Plenty of labels are putting out bathing suits that don't make you look like a tourist or a frat bro, so invest in a pair and take down two birds with one stone.

Carry around Gold Bond for your sweaty balls.

There's nothing worse than brewing up a tropical swamp in your crotch, but unfortunately that's a reality we all deal with every summer. Make sure you have a bottle of Gold Bond or any other product that combats excessive moisture, heat, and odor handy at home, in the car, or wherever, and be liberal with that shit if you don't want a bayou in your pants all summer long.
