Bristol Studio and LA Riot have joined forces on a capsule collection called Turf, blending the aesthetics of both brands into a single drop available on Complex.
Bristol Studio has built its identity around basketball—not just as a sport, but as a lived experience that shapes the brand’s approach to design. The Turf collection with LA Riot follows that same thread, pairing Bristol Studio's court-rooted design language with LA Riot's identity.
The two brands’ shared visual language incorporates graphics from the early 2000s era when sports tees and championship shirts were representative of basketball style. The collection focuses on a graphic map of Los Angeles, highlighting meaningful locations to both brands while subtly nodding to the BIG3 with the silhouettes of three basketball players.
