Following reports that Ye was planning his first Yeezy runway show in over four years, Yeezy has announced a runway show to take place at the brand’s flagship store in Los Angeles.
On Wednesday (Nov. 4), the artist formerly known as Kanye West will host Yeezy Season 01 at 8 p.m. local time at the Yeezy Flagship Droam 1 store at 4317 Beverly Blvd, Los Angeles. It will be the first Yeezy brand runway show in over four years, confirming reports from Lauren Sherman for Puck News last month.
Earlier this year, Ye did a soft relaunch of the Yeezy brand, which has been selling various basic pieces on its website for a while now. Ye also partnered with JD Sports to stock Yeezy Slides and other footwear earlier this year. Following Ye’s embrace of anti-semitism, which he has since apologized for, Yeezy’s longtime partnership with Adidas came to an abrupt end.
