The Nike Air More Uptempo has long been associated with Scottie Pippen, despite not being his official signature sneaker. Pippen was known for wearing the sneaker prior to the introduction of his own signature line in 1997, both with the Bulls and as a member of Team USA in the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta. Now, Pippen is being honored on this upcoming pair that’s been made for the 30th anniversary of the Nike Air More Uptempo.

As seen in these leaked images from Oneness, the most notable feature on the new Nike Air More Uptempo “30 Years of Uptempo” (IX8627-010) is the “PIP” lettering, which replaces the typical “AIR” branding on the side of the upper. The sneaker also features a Black/Sail/Anthracite colorway, along with a tonal Pippen logo on the heel.

Following the Nike Air More Uptempo, Pippen went on to have five models of his own while in the NBA, and the post-retirement Air Pippen 6. It’s also been reported that the Nike Air Foamposite One was originally intended to be his shoe.

No official release details have been provided as of yet, but Oneness reports that the sneaker is set to release on December 23, 2026 for $180. Check out a closer look in the gallery below.
