Nike's longstanding tradition of raising awareness for breast cancer continues this year with its upcoming Air Force 1s, pictured here.
According to retail sources, these two premium Nike Air Force 1 Lows will release in October, tied to Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Both pairs are equipped with a satin-esque material on the upper, with one pair dressed in pink and the other in black. The standout detail for the style is the play on the word "Awareness" with "Aw'Air'ness" featured on the right heel tab, the tongue tag, and in the translucent outsole. Completing the design are iridescent Swoosh logos on the sides and pink ribbons on the heel, with the latter being a symbol of breast cancer awareness.
Both colorways of the "Breast Cancer Awareness" Air Force 1 Lows are currently scheduled to drop on Oct. 2 at Nike.com and at select retailers. Check back soon for official updates.
