After early leaks of their next sneaker project initially surfaced in September, Melitta Baumeister and Nike have officially revealed their upcoming Rift Rocker collab.
The unveiling of the new Melitta Baumeister x Nike Rift Rocker comes just months after the two entities released their first collab in April that featured the performance-based Vomero Premium and Pegasus Premium silhouettes—sneakers that had 2026 Sneaker of the Year considerations.
For her sophomore project with the Swoosh, she’s taken a different approach. This time, she’s reimagined the classic Nike Air Rift through her avant-garde design lens, and the result is unique creation known as the Rift Rocker.

Baumeister once again references the human body for her latest design, the Nike Rift Rocker. The upper still carries the essence of the Air Rift but is updated by adding shoelaces, a co-branded midfoot strap, and a trimmed-down heel counter revealing her eye logo. The chunky rocker sole gets its inspiration from sculpted clay and has an exaggerated shape.

The Melitta Baumeister x Nike Rift Rocker releases on November 5 exclusively at Melittabaumeister.com, followed by a wider launch on November 12.
