The Puma Suede is celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2018, and to help mark the occasion the brand has tapped collaborator The Weeknd to put a new spin on the silhouette.
This new iteration of the Suede is inspired by military boots. The mid-cut sneakers still feature suede material, but include new twists like a higher cut, buckles instead of laces, and "19" and "68" graphics that commemorate the year of Suede's introduction.
Puma and The Weeknd have worked before, most recently releasing a series of high-top Parallel sneakers that were also influenced by military boots, and served as a signature model for the pop star.
The Weeknd x Puma Suede 50 comes in three colorways of "Black/White," "Black/Gum," and "Glacier Gray." Each version will be available online at puma.com and at select retailers starting Saturday, Aug. 11. Check below for a detailed look at each colorway.
