January Jones eats her placenta. Or something like that.
"I have a great doula who makes sure I’m eating well, with vitamins and teas, and with placenta capsulation," Jones said during a press junket for "Mad Men. "Your placenta gets dehydrated and made into vitamins."
She credits the vitamins for giving her energy on set.
"It’s something I was very hesitant about," she says. "But we’re the only mammals who don’t ingest our own placentas."
