Jason Statham and Guy Ritchie are reuniting for another action-packed film, and this time they're bringing their longtime partnership to Netflix.

On Tuesday, the streaming giant announced Dogfight, a new revenge thriller starring Statham and written, directed, and produced by Ritchie. According to Variety, the upcoming project marks the seventh collaboration between the actor and filmmaker.

Netflix describes the movie as a "stylish revenge actioner set in the London criminal underworld," although additional details about the storyline remain a mystery.

"Plot details remain under lock, stock, and key," Netflix teased through its Tudum platform.

The film will be produced by Black Bear Pictures alongside Ritchie's Toff Guy Films and Statham's Punch Palace Productions. Ritchie and Statham will also serve as producers alongside Ivan Atkinson and John Friedberg.

Production is expected to begin in the United Kingdom in early 2027, but Netflix has yet to announce an official release date. Statham is currently the only confirmed cast member.

The upcoming film continues a partnership that stretches back nearly three decades. Ritchie gave Statham his first major acting opportunity in the 1998 crime comedy Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, which also marked the filmmaker's directorial debut.

The two followed that success with Snatch in 2000 and Revolver in 2005 before reuniting years later for the 2021 action thriller Wrath of Man, which earned approximately $104 million worldwide. Their next collaboration arrived in 2023 with Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre.

Before Dogfight arrives, the duo will reunite in another upcoming action thriller, Viva La Madness. Based on J.J. Connolly's novel, the film wrapped principal photography earlier this year and is being positioned as a standalone project rather than a direct continuation of Layer Cake.

While Viva La Madness will be distributed by Black Bear in North America and Amazon MGM Studios across most international markets, Dogfight will mark the pair's first original film for Netflix.

The streaming platform has already seen interest in their previous work. After arriving on Netflix in December 2025, Wrath of Man reportedly accumulated 8.3 million views across two weeks on the platform's global Top 10 chart.

Meanwhile, Ritchie has remained busy with several projects across film and television. His Netflix crime series The Gentlemen returned for its second season in September, with a third season currently in production.

The filmmaker is also involved with Paramount+'s MobLand and Prime Video's Young Sherlock, while his upcoming thriller Wife & Dog is scheduled to hit U.S. theaters on February 19, 2027.
