Jennifer Lawrence has candidly expressed how she wouldn’t jump at the chance to be recast as Mystique in X-Men.

In a recent Allure video breaking down her most memorable movie costumes, the Academy Award winner was asked whether she would sign up for heavy blue airbrushing and prosthetics to return as Mystique. Lawrence shut down the question without a second thought.

"Never say never, but absolutely fucking not," The Hunger Games star said around the nine-minute mark of the video below. "Because you know how airbrushing is very cold? So it was like seven airbrushes all... I mean, and I'm ticklish, too."

"I think I learned how little sleep I can operate on and what can happen to the human mind when you've actually reached your breaking point. And patience!" Lawrence continued.

The actor starred as Mystique in four movies from the X-Men franchise throughout the 2010s, beginning with X-Men: First Class. Rebecca Romijn played the fictional character in the first on-screen adaptation of X-Men in the 2000s and will return as the mutant shapeshifter in Avengers: Doomsday, which releases December 18.

Lawrence also described the difficulties of getting into character on the October 28 episode of Call Her Daddy, recalling the process of transforming into Mystique as "all body paint and glue."

"It was eight hours every time and ticklish..." she said around the 28-minute mark of the video below. "Imagine two tiny, cold, compressing air brushes all over your body. I am a hero. No one will understand what I went through."
