DJ Akademiks has got the internet talking after posting a video to social media that appears to show him with a slimmer physique.
On Friday night (June 19), the media personality took to Instagram Stories to share a clip, soundtracked by Drake song "Plot Twist," showing him wearing a colorful outfit and giving a quick fit check.
"Fitademiks going crazy lbs," he captioned the video, adding that he bought a pair of Dolce & Gabbana shoes over a year ago and had been waiting to wear them.
It appears Akademiks has been working on his health for a little while now. Last year, the former Everyday Struggle co-host denied that he's been using Ozempic during a sit-down chat with streamer DDG at ComplexCon last October. Akademiks, however, didn’t know why the medication received a “bad stigma."
"Here's the funny part: if I was, I don't know why it has a bad stigma, though. Because if I'm big as fuck and fat as fuck and I'm finna die…’Cause I ain’t gonna lie to you — I had breathing problems," he said around the 1:30 mark of the video below.
The media personality also shared that his clothes barely fit him, which demonstrated just how much weight he had lost with diet and exercise.
In the same month, Ak hosted a livestream alongside Adin Ross, where the streamer spotted the changes and asked directly whether his guest was on Ozempic. Ak shut down the speculation by saying that he’s improved his eating habits and doesn’t drink lean.
