Could it be over between Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox?
The entertainers, who met three years ago while on the set of a movie, are no strangers to making headlines. After going Instagram official in July 2020, they felt unstoppable. Every other post centered around the couple lusting after each other. MGK popped the question to Fox in January 2022, after a year and a half of dating. In the post announcing their engagement, Fox revealed that she and her fiancé drink each other’s blood for “ritual purposes.”
And despite the pair having their fair share of high-profile relationships before coming together, MGK revealed that he hadn’t experienced love until he fell for Fox. “I did fall in love for the first time. That was my first experience with being open to love and stuff like that. I definitely wasn't set up to believe that that's something that could ever exist," MGK said while appearing on The Howard Stern Show in September 2020.
But in February, rumors swirled that there was trouble in paradise after Fox shared cryptic messages on Instagram, making fans believe that she and the musician had hit a rough patch. Those aforementioned posts included lyrics from Beyoncé’s Lemonade album, a burning letter, and a selfie next to a domestic violence poster. It came as a complete shock, considering the two attended the Grammys together days earlier, and Fox penned a touching tribute to MGK shortly after. They also attended a Super Bowl party together the same weekend she shared the Instagram post.
A source later confirmed to People that Fox isn’t wearing her engagement ring out of anger toward MGK. The two are said to have gotten into a recent, heated argument. "They haven't officially called off the engagement but Megan took her ring off," the insider explained. "They have had issues in the past, but things seem pretty serious this time."
They have had quite the intense romance and made sure to bring fans along for the ride. From how they met and their engagement, to now facing breakup rumors, here’s everything you need to know about Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox’s relationship, so far.

I go to cock the shotgun and the bullet as it comes back up, the shell just gets jammed. Megan's like dead silent."

The last dig appeared to be Fox responding to a fan’s claim that MGK was unfaithful with guitarist Sophie Lloyd. Fox brushed off the claim in her comments section, saying, “Maybe I got with Sophie.” Lloyd’s team also released a statement, denying that she was romantically involved with Kelly. “Any suggestion that she has ever acted in an unprofessional manner or stepped out of her relationship are untrue. It’s disrespectful to her as a female artist and poor journalism and social commentary to be reporting anything else,” the message reads.
On Monday, a source told People that the couple was going through a rough patch but are still together. The insider said it all began with a fight over the weekend. “They haven’t officially called off the engagement but Megan took her ring off,” the source said. “They have had issues in the past, but things seem pretty serious this time.”
