'Rob & Big' Star Christopher "Big Black" Boykin Dead at 45

Christopher 'Big Black' Boykin died Tuesday morning at the age 45, according to TMZ.

Boykin was best known as the best friend and bodyguard of professional skateboarder Rob Dyrdek. In 2006, the two landed their own MTV reality show called Rob & Big. After the series wrapped up in 2008, Boykin appeared on the spin-off Fantasy Factory as well as several episodes of Dyrdek’s comedy clip show Ridiculousness.

According to TMZ, a cause of death has not been determined. Boykin is survived by his 9-year-old daughter.
