Fans rejoice.
Brooklyn Nine-Nine will return on a different network. The show has been picked up by NBC, Deadlinereports. News recently broke that the show, which was originally on Fox, had been canceled, much to the dismay of fans. Reports that the show might be moving to Hulu began to circulate but nothing materialized, until now.
“Ever since we sold this show to Fox I’ve regretted letting it get away, and it’s high time it came back to its rightful home,” Robert Greenblatt, the Chairman of NBC Entertainment said, perDeadline. “Mike Schur, Dan Goor, and Andy Samberg grew up on NBC and we’re all thrilled that one of the smartest, funniest, and best cast comedies in a long time will take its place in our comedy line-up. I speak for everyone at NBC, here’s to the Nine-Nine!”
The comedy series' sixth season will run for 13-episodes.
