To all the Janices out there, Drake is gearing up to apologize to as many of you as possible with five simultaneous invite-only events across North America.

On June 28, Drizzy is inviting women named Janice across North America to “an afternoon of food, drinks, prizes, and a few surprises” at events in New York City, Miami, Houston, Toronto, and Los Angeles, according to an official email.

The NYC event will take place at MAMO NYC, Miami at Forte dei Marmi, Houston at 1100 Westheimer Road, Toronto at the Cactus Club, and in Los Angeles at the Delilah. Each event will take place from 1 PM to 4 PM.

In order to get in, your first name must legally be Janice. According to a press release, invitations have already been sent out to Janice’s in each city. If you haven’t received one (and again, your name must be Janice), you can still RSVP by emailing [email protected].

Drake first announced the Janice apology parties on June 25. The kind gesture arrives amid the enduring popularity of his song, “Janice STFU” from Iceman. With the song going viral and becoming his first multi-week #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 since he released “In My Feelings” in 2018, Janices have, presumably, been told to shut up — so it’s only right that he apologizes for all the moniker-based chaos he’s caused.

“Janice STFU” is already certified platinum by the RIAA. It’s also surpassed 100 million streams on Spotify.

One person who seems to be wary of Drake’s apologies to Janices is Oshea Jackson Jr., who posted about the parties potentially being traps on X.

“To any chick named Janice who’s on the run for anything….this is a trap,” he joked. “They did the same thing to Washington Redskins fans in 1985, lmfaooo look it up.”

Jackson’s post referenced a sting operation conducted by the U.S. Marshals Service and the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Police Department called Operation Flagship in 1985. The operation consisted of authorities inviting people to Washington Commanders (formerly Redskins) games for free, but it was really their way to arrest wanted fugitives.
