Key Takeaways

  • Keyshia Cole declared herself "Single. Happy. Focused." on Instagram and said she's "cooking up the greatest rebrand" of her life.
  • Fans read the post as a split from Skrilla, less than two weeks after Cole shared a photo of what appeared to be his back tattooed with "KEYSHIA."
  • Cole and Skrilla first sparked dating rumors in July, following her on-and-off relationship with Atlanta rapper Hunxho.

Keyshia Cole has declared herself single less than two weeks after rapper Skrilla got her name tattooed on his back.

On Friday (November 6), according to a repost shared by The Shade Room, the R&B singer reposted a message to her Instagram Story that read: "It's peaceful when you're not interested in anyone anymore,"

"Currently cooking up the greatest rebrand of my life rn. Single. Happy. Focused,” she wrote over the post.

Fans connected the post to a presumed breakup with Philadelphia rapper Skrilla. The pair were first spotted together publicly in July, hitting LIV for the XXL Freshman Class 2026 party and taking a mirror selfie with Cole's arms wrapped around the "Doot Doot (6 7)" artist.

The relationship appeared to be solidified in late October, when the "Love" singer shared an image of what looked like Skrilla's back, inked with "KEYSHIA."

Before dating Skrilla, Cole spent much of 2024 and 2025 in an on-and-off relationship with Atlanta rapper Hunxho, which ended in March 2025. During the relationship, Cole got the rapper's forename, Ibrahim, tattooed on her chest.

Last May, Cole appeared on The Breakfast Club, where she shared that she wasn't in a rush to remove the tattoo or have it covered up but acknowledged that she wasn’t "ready to move on" from the "By Tomorrow" rapper.
