We hear the music. But we almost never see the process. For one night, Labrinth decided to change that.

On Wednesday night (Nov. 4), the Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter, and producer—best known for his work on HBO's Euphoria—teamed up with Apple for a unique creative experiment: making an entire song from scratch using Apple's latest MacBook Pro, while streaming the whole process live.

The event took place at Apple's Tower Theatre store in downtown Los Angeles. And for almost four hours, fans got the rare opportunity to watch Labrinth build a song from the ground up, by himself, in real time.

The stream was part of Apple's rollout of its new MacBook Pro, which arrives Nov. 6 and features a tandem OLED display and new touch capabilities.

What's even cooler is that fans will actually get to live with the finished product. The track is scheduled to be released next week, exclusively on Apple Music.
