XXL is reporting that Baton Rouge rapper Kevin Gates was arrested last night in his native Louisiana on parole violation charges. XXL cites unnamed sources, who said that his violation wasn't serious, and was related to his travelling outside of his home state. He recently completed a New York City press run (including a stop into the Complex offices) and toured for much of October.
Complex has reached out to his camp for comment and will update if we receive word.
