Whether it's the release of an album or song, a controversial moment, or just a reason to celebrate, there's plenty of events in hip-hop's history that's worth looking back on. Today's episode focuses on June 2, 1990—the day a Florida judge deemed 2 Live Crew's As Nasty As They Wanna Be album was obscene and illegal to sell. The ruling actually landed the rap group in jail, but thankfully it was eventually overturned.
