DJ Akademiks is filling us in about his date with Daphne Joy.
A clip that’s been making the rounds online shows Ak bragging about his apparent date with Daphne Joy, with him brandishing a honey pack in the video.
“Yo, when y’all ever seen a first date, n***a?” he said into the camera. “I pulled out,” he added, before showing the honey pack to the camera. “I’m not even playing with y’all.”
For those who don’t know what a honey pack is: it’s supposed to enhance sexual performance for men. Akademiks then gloated about how much he spent, revealing that he and Joy didn’t actually eat anything at all.
“Yo, for the dinner? N***a, the dinner cost me $3,000; what's it, $3,000 or $4,000… n***a, we ain't even eat. We just filmed a fucking episode.”
Later in the clip, the podcaster was seen talking to a woman named Chloe, who told him to try the Wagyu they ordered, apparently for his dinner with Joy.
“I want a chicken tender bro, I don't wonder what that is,” Ak said. “What the fuck is Wagyu?”
On Saturday, Akademiks and Daphne went viral when they linked up for what looked to be a date after weeks of flirting. Ak took to X, sharing photos of them in intimate poses while she held a rose.
Joy made headlines earlier this month when a sex tape featuring her and Diddy leaked. Akademiks subsequently interviewed her, telling her he finds her attractive, to which she said that she was “attracted” to his attraction to her.
