During a recent chat with her fans on X Spaces, Cardi B revealed that one of her ex-partners threatened to kill himself after she broke up with her and also made threats against her life.
“You see what happens when a bitch really leaves,” she told her fans. “We all saw how he almost wanted to kill himself when I left. I didn’t even wanna bring that situation up, because I don't even want to like fake act, like, I'm trying to come at a n***a or something.”
She also said that people would often comment on her relationships, and said she noticed that they never end up with the woman they cheated with.
“Why they not with them? Why they don't be with them when I leave?” she said. “They getting brand new bitches. Why did they be crashing out over me? Since it's only because of my name. Since it's only because of my name, since it's only because I'm Cardi B. Then it's like why y’all damn near want to fucking kill yourself, and y'all seeing it in real time, everybody seeing it in real time.
While she never mentions him by name, Cardi took to Spaces in 2025 alleging Offset was harassing her after she reached out to his new girlfriend with screenshots of messages he sent the “Bodak Yellow” rapper. She also alleged he was suicidal.
Earlier this year, a judge reportedly denied a request from Offset demanding a paternity test for Cardi and Diggs’ child as part of their ongoing divorce proceedings. She filed for divorce from the rapper in 2024 and requested primary custody of their children.
During her marriage to Offset, social media personality Celina Powell claimed she was pregnant with his child. In January, Powell shared a video that appears to show her and Offset in bed, and she later claimed he was threatening her daily and owes her thousands.
