Newt Gingrich Tells Megyn Kelly She's 'Fascinated With Sex' for Calling Out Sexual Assault

Fox News host Megyn Kelly has repeatedly been at the center of controversies spurred by Donald Trump's Republican presidential run this election season, and last night she came under attack on her own show by Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich. Kelly, like many journalists, has been closely covering the sexual assault allegations that have surfaced against Trump, which Gingrich attacked as a "fascination with sex" when he appeared on Kelly's show Tuesday night.

Gingrich interrupted Kelly repeatedly, accusing her of being biased against Trump for covering the allegations. Attempting to get Gingrich to allow her to speak, Kelly said, "I think your defensiveness on this may speak volumes, sir."

"You are fascinated with sex and you don't care about public policy," Gingrich charged later in the conversation. Giggling a bit, Kelly responded, "Me? Really? ... You know what Mr. Speaker, I'm not fascinated by sex, but I am fascinated by the protection of women, and understanding what we're getting in the Oval Office." The segment ended with Kelly telling Gingrich, "You can take your anger issues and spend some time working on them."

Gingrich fired back later on Twitter, claiming he doesn't have issues with anger management but rather with "media bias."
