Key Takeaways

  • Dairy Queen will launch its Peanut Butter Blossom Blizzard on Nov. 2, mixing Hershey’s Mini Kisses, cookie pieces, peanut butter topping, and soft serve.
  • The holiday collection also brings back the Peppermint Bark Blizzard, with both seasonal flavors available at participating U.S. locations through Jan. 3.
  • Customers can add any Blizzard to Dairy Queen’s $8 Meal Deal for $2 extra, while a separate Friendsgiving offer includes two cupcakes for $6 from Nov. 2 through Nov. 29.

Dairy Queen has a new holiday treat on the way, and it's putting a frozen spin on a classic holiday cookie.

The fast-food chain is teaming up with Hershey's for the new Peanut Butter Blossom made with Hershey's Mini Kisses Blizzard Treat, arriving Nov. 2 at participating locations across the U.S. According to a press release, the new flavor is part of Dairy Queen's Holiday Cookie Swap Blizzard Treat Collection, which takes inspiration from classic holiday cookie platters.

So, what should you expect from this treat? The Peanut Butter Blossom Blizzard combines Hershey's Mini Kisses, cookie pieces and peanut butter topping with Dairy Queen's signature soft serve. It's a frozen take on the familiar holiday cookie, which traditionally pairs peanut butter with a chocolate candy pressed into the center. Now, that combination is getting the Blizzard treatment.

The collection also brings back the Peppermint Bark Blizzard Treat, made with milk and white chocolatey layers and peppermint candy cane pieces. Both seasonal flavors will be available from Nov. 2 through Jan. 3 at participating U.S. locations.

The fast-food chain has also announced that for a limited time, customers can upgrade the chain's $8 Meal Deal to include a Blizzard Treat for an extra $2. The meal includes a choice of Chicken Strips or an Original Cheeseburger, regular fries, a beverage and a sundae. The upgrade lets you swap the sundae for any Blizzard Treat, including the new Peanut Butter Blossom flavor.

Dairy Queen is also offering a Friendsgiving deal from Nov. 2 through Nov. 29, when customers can get two cupcakes for $6.

To access the seasonal offers and other deals, sign up for DQ Rewards at DairyQueen.com or through the DQ mobile app. The new Blizzard collection will be available at participating locations while the seasonal promotion lasts.
