Cameron Boozer (+240)
The Grizzlies forward was considered the most “ready-made” player in June’s NBA Draft. Boozer struggled greatly in his NBA debut Wednesday night as he went an ugly 2-of-15 from the floor in 33 minutes. He missed all 6 of his 3-point attempts and finished with 7 points. He did pull down 11 rebounds in a 123-103 Grizzlies victory over the Jazz.
Caleb Wilson (+340)
The Bulls are projected to be one of the worst teams in the NBA this season, but at least they will be entertaining. Wilson will likely be the star of Chicago’s highlight reel this season as he is already displaying his eye-popping athleticism on the NBA stage. The former North Carolina Tar Heel had multiple dunks that made the rounds on social media in his NBA debut Wednesday night in Toronto. He finished with 16 points in 32 minutes in a 135-92 blowout loss to the Raptors.
AJ Dybantsa (+450)
Wizards fans will have to wait a little longer to see the debut of the No. 1 overall pick.
Dybantsa suffered a mild ankle sprain in the Wizards’ final preseason game last Friday. The former BYU standout played well in Washington’s exhibition season as he finished in double-figures in scoring in each of the four games he played.
