The Jets have been without their star running back, Breece Hall, for nearly a month now. Hall injured his right quadriceps in Week 3 against the Lions. Jets fans and Hall fantasy football owners are currently asking when Hall will return and be back on the field? Below, we will dish out a Hall injury update and look at his status for whether or not he will play Week 7 against the Dolphins.

Hall was injured in Week 3 in Detroit against the Lions when he was tackled out of bounds early in the fourth quarter. He rolled over in pain after the play and grabbed his right thigh.

“I felt something when I was running and then got tackled and planted and felt something else,” Hall said following the game against the Lions. “It’s part of the game. It just sucks.”

The Jets have only said that Hall is dealing with a “quad injury,” so we do not know how severe it is. But considering he is close to return, it is likely somewhere between a mild quad strain and a moderate quad strain.

It typically takes 1-3 weeks to recover from a mild strain, and 4-8 weeks to recover from a moderate strain.

Hall was a limited participant in Jets practice on Thursday and Friday. He is trending towards playing, but will be a game-time decision on Sunday against the Dolphins.

If he is unable to suit up Sunday against Miami, he will almost certainly make his return next Sunday against the Raiders.

Here is the look at the Jets’ upcoming schedule.

  • Week 7 Sunday, October 25: Dolphins at Jets
  • Week 8 Sunday, November 1: Raiders at Jets
  • Week 9 Sunday, November 8: Jets at Chiefs
  • Week 10 Sunday, November 15: Bills at Jets

Aaron Glenn’s squad doesn’t have its bye week until Week 13.

Hall is currently rostered in 93 percent of Yahoo fantasy football leagues.
