Since Earl Ray Beard left his job and started making pieces in military grade cotton sateen and rugged twill painter coveralls in 1972, he's earned a reputation for turning out high quality and durable workwear from his factory in Crockett, Texas. 45 years later his brand Stan Ray (named after his youngest son Stanley) is revisiting that legacy for their Nothing Comes From Nowhere collection. The collection includes reissues of denim, workwear and military inspired pieces alongside contemporary fits and new fabrics like washed denim, duck and wool blends from Woolrich Mills. Stan Ray's focus on the Made in America ethos is still a big part of the brand, with every collection for the last 45 years being made in their original Texas factory, where the brand's name sake, Earl's son Stanley, is in charge of cutting operations.
