For Spring / Summer 17, Stone Island have dropped a collection of genuinely one of a kind pieces. The Hand Corrosion collection features military inspired outerwear pieces as well as heavy cotton knits, sweatshirts and shorts. To make each piece in the collection fully unique, the brand have used a technique which involves dying white garments before decoloring them by hand with a corrosive paste. As some of the dye stays on each piece, every one is completely unique and can't be repeated. Even the iconic Stone Island logo on the arm goes through this process and features the same corrosion marks.
