For the last four years, Mario Testino’s museum in his native Peru, MATE, has been a showcase of the legendary photographers work. Now, the museum is expanding and being redeveloped, so that there's space for more of his pictures and more of the items so closely linked with his career. Part of this new museum space at MATE is a new permanent collection.

The new collection includes a range of images and portraits of different subjects, and things Testino has picked up along the way. Everyone from Testino’s original muses, like Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell, to people like Rihanna and Kendall Jenner is now going to have a portrait in the museum. As well as big name models, the collection will also feature shots of Peruvians from the mountainous region near Cusco that make up part of Testino’s Alta Moda.

These images, chosen by Alex Moore, the exhibitions and publications manager from MARIOTESTINO+, are also featured on Mira Mira, a new platform for Mario Testino to exhibit images, podcasts and notes from his travels.

You can see a selection of the images that make up the new permanent collectionbelow, and you can take a look at everything Mira Mira has to offer at www.miramira.tv.
