The designers for next month’s LC:M MAN line-up have been announced. The line-up will be made up of Charles Jeffrey, who is returning for his second season, and newcomers Feng Chen Wang and Per Götesson.
All three designers will be showcasing their collections for Spring/Summer 2017 on June 10 at TOPMAN’s London showspace. This also an opportunity for the designers to earn financial sponsorship, top-of-the-line business mentoring, a spot in a top Parisian international sales showroom and further support behind the scenes.
Fashion East director Lulu Kennedy spoke about her excitement regarding next month's show, saying:
"I am properly delighted about June’s MAN – our really exciting new names will join Charles Jeffrey who’s back from his brilliantly buzzy debut with us last season! We’re also adding an element of presentation into the runway event, which I’m really into!"
TOPMAN's creative director Gordon Richardson added:
"Following on from last season’s exceptional MAN line-up, this season delivers on talent yet again. I can’t wait to see what Charles Jeffrey comes back with and am excited to see what newcomers Feng Chen Wang and Per Götesson add to the MAN mix."
Wang (who is originally from Beijing, but is based in London), Jeffrey and Götesson (originally from Sweden) were selected by the project’s industry panel and will follow in the illustrious footsteps of MAN designer alumni such as: Kim Jones, J.W. Anderson, Christopher Shannon, Astrid Andersen, Craig Green, Liam Hodges and Wales Bonner.
