UPDATE 4/12/16: NFL teams have started to respond to SI's list with what we can only hope are jokes. The list opened the floodgates for athletes dressed in horrible novelty suits.

Last week, Sports Illustrated announced that it would be honoring the 50 most stylish athletes. The magazine put together a special group of experts to determine the winners, who were judged not only by what they wear, but also by things like their designer collaborations, social media presence, and attendance at fashion shows.
Today, Sports Illustrated has unveiled the list and the results aren't very surprising. The top spot was awarded to Victor Cruz, who was named the most fashionable athlete. Cruz was followed by Russell Westbrook, LeBron James, and Serena Williams. Dwayne Wade was ranked later down the list at number seven and Andre Iguodala came in at eight. The top 10 was rounded out by Cristiano Ronaldo, Misty Copeland, and Skylar Diggins.
The extensive top 50 list also featured Carmelo Anthony, David Beckham, Odell Beckham Jr., Tyson Chandler, and Cam Newton.Â
