UPDATE: The angry have distressed masses of the Internet are throwing money at their Rihanna Puma slide problems. Over 300 pairs of the sandals have already found their way to eBay and are selling for an average of $174, a rep for the site confirmed to Racked. However, many auctions are blowing past that figure and into the $200 to $300 range. If you want to get the coveted black colorway, it's going to cost you even more. A pair in black just sold for $1,000 on the auction site.

See the original story from 4/22/16 below.

A couple weeks back, Rihanna revealed that her latest footwear for Puma would be a pair of faux fur slides. Like with everything RiRi does, there was a lot of hype over her new cozy sandals. So, it was no surprise that when they finally dropped this morning they sold out in minutes. Since her suede creepers went just as fast, it was expected that the slides wouldn't hang around long. Still, there were a ton of ladies who tried and failed to get their hands on a pair.

Of course, the only thing to do when you miss out on copping something is take to Twitter to express your disappointment.

One person suggested that they purchase this pair of pink slippers instead.

Oh you think it's a joke 😩💔 https://t.co/ZZTKcb2i1I

While there are some definite similarities, it looked like the idea got some mixed reactions. One user was into it, but another didn't find it funny at all.

The good news is it is only a matter of time before the slides will surface on eBay, but you might end up paying an insane amount for a pair of sandals.
