Patagonia will be bringing the Worn Wear tour to the UK, for the first time ever, in a bid to encourage costumers to make their old clothes last longer.

The tour's main aim is to extend the life of our used garments, through proper care, in order to lower our impact on the planet. This simple act reduces the frequent need to buy more clothes, which in-turn avoids the CO2 emissions, waste output, and water usage required to build it.

Across Europe, Worn Wear mobile repair shops will be popping-up and they will be equipped with Industrial Juki sewing machines and will be open to anyone who brings in a garment that's in need of repair, no matter the brand. Furthermore the tour intends to educate visitors about the ethos of Patagonia’s Worn Wear program.

The Worn Wear tour will be kicking off in both the UK and Germany and will end in France, Italy and the Netherlands. During that time the tour will be stopping off at various locations including: retail stores, sport events, farmers’ markets and universities.
