Gosha Rubchinskiy first unveiled his Fall/Winter 2016 collection back in January during Paris Fashion Week, but the designer is giving us a closer look at the "Save and Survive" themed collection with the release of a new lookbook.
Once again, Rubchinskiy pulled inspiration from post-soviet youth culture, this time taking cues from '90s punks, skaters, and skinheads. The Russian designer presents the usual range of oversized tops like tees and turtlenecks paired with tracksuits and sweatpants, in addition to a selection of cold weather accessories that includes camo beanies and colorful football scarves. As to be expected, his signature Cyrillic script is seen throughout the collection.
Rubchinskiy also offers a look behind the scenes at his runway show with a new video shot exclusively for Dazed. The designer presented the show at an old church in Paris and street-cast the models from Instagram. Next season, Rubchinskiy will be presenting his collection, along with a new film and book, at the Italian tradeshow Pitti Uomo as the guest designer.
