Exclusive First Look: Justin Bieber's 'Purpose' Tour Merch

Justin Bieber's Purpose world tour officially kicks off in Seattle today. Ahead of the first show, we got an exclusive look at the tour merch that will be sold at all venues and online. 

The Purpose tour merch is a bit of a departure from what we've seen from Bieber in the past, but it definitely falls in line with his current personal style. The merch was inspired by vintage concert tees and today's skate and street cultures. Hoodies, tees, crewneck sweatshirts, a sleeveless shirt, and a baseball shirt in black, white, and grey are emblazoned with various graphics such as "World Tour" in Old English Gothic style calligraphy, portraits of Bieber, "Purpose World Tour" in a font reminiscent of the one used in metal tees, and an image of a cross—appropriate given Bieber's newly found spirituality. There are also a few outerwear pieces to round it all out—a coaches jacket, denim jacket, bomber jacket, and a camo jacket. 

"We wanted to obviously continue to communicate to JB's core fan base, but also appeal to his new followers," a source involved in the merch's creation told Complex. "We wanted to make something they would wear and stuff [Justin] would wear, too. We believe JB's story of redemption and purpose is bigger than what's happening currently in culture, and we wanted to create something that would complement his message."
