Men have plenty of options when trying to become more attractive to the fairer sex: They can get dog, wear an all-black uniform, or even walk around with perpetual garlic breath. But did you know there is now a body spray that will instantly turn dudes into lust-inducing hunks?

According to a report by the Daily Mail, researchers have discovered a real-life “love potion” that makes men 15 percent more attractive to women. It’s a spray that contains a synthetic version of oxytocin, the hormone that is naturally released when a lady falls in love or gives birth.

Here’s how its effects were tested: Scientists at the University of Bonn in Germany recruited 40 20-something-year-old women who claimed to be “passionately in love” with their significant other. Half of the women were asked to inhale the spray, while the other half was given a placebo. All participants were then shown photos of various men, including their partners, and asked to rate their levels of attraction. The test was conducted again, but this time, the women who were initially given the spray were asked to inhale the placebo and vice versa.

What did the researchers find? The women found their partners 15 percent more attractive after smelling the synthetic oxytocin spray; however, women who were on the pill seemed to be unaffected.

The spray, which goes by the name syntocinon, is available at various retailers as well as online. But Neal Patel of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society told the Daily Mailthat it should not be taken without a prescription, as it can potentially cause health problems like heart palpitations and nausea.
