Goodhood is without a doubt one of London's best and most-loved stores, and their impeccable buying has made them a destination for anyone looking to look good while in London. For Spring/Summer 2016, the East London store has added young British designer Matthew Miller's eponymous label to their menswear selection, which has us rejoicing, because who doesn't love Miller's take on contemporary menswear? He approaches clothing like objects, like furniture or ceramics, and balances simple manufacturing values with his artist's approach, and the result is truly great, wearable collections.

To mark the introduction of Matthew's line to the store, Goodhood are hosting a four day exhibition spanning London Collections: Men (Men's fashion week) from January 8 – January 11, and an in-store launch event this evening to help kickstart the LC:M festivities. The exhibition is an anarchistic body of work that explores modern day politics, religion and pop culture through a graphical protest — if you're a fan of Miller's work, you may recognise this style from his 'Born to Fail' capsule in 2015. The focus of the exhibition is on Goodhood and Miller's Spring/Summer 2016 body of work, 'Conform'.

For Spring/Summer 2016, the words 'conform', 'control' and 'restrict' form the backbone of Miller's collection, with the designer using his frustrations with red tape and systems that enforce this uniquely modern restraint to inform his designs, and this exhibition, which features artwork and a video. Ahead of the launch this evening, we got exclusive access to the in-store installation, so check out the photos below, and drop by Goodhood's Curtain Road space if you're in town this weekend.
