2015 was a big year for Gigi Hadid. Over the past 12 months, we've seen the 20-year-old model cement her place as one of the hottest names in fashion by covering international magazines, starring in major campaigns, and making her debut at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.
It's only fitting then that she was voted by fans as the "Model of the Year" on Models.com. Hadid beat out her bestie Kendall Jenner, who came in second. Hadid was also ranked number two, only topped by Alexander Wang muse Anna Ewers, by 250 industry insiders.
Last year, Hadid wasn't even considered for the "Model of the Year" category, which was won by Cara Delevingne. She was, however, named the runner-up for the "Breakout Star" award, following Jenner who won the category. This time around, Gigi's sister Bella, who has also been on our radar, won the "Breakout Star" award from readers.
